ENGLISH CLASS.- WEEK 9



MONDAY


Hello! Good morning! How are you? How was your weekend? Great… :)
Let’s start with a song “Apples and Bananas”  What day is today? Yes, today`s Monday ……. (write the date in your book and notebook)
Spelling: Language Book 120.  Read the new vocabulary. Using a dictionary or glossary. Watch a video. Write the landmarks and travel words in alphabetical order. Match the words with the definitions. Write each word, translate and illustrate them. Write a sentence with each word.
On line class: Language Book page 120. Present the vocabulary. Watch a video, match meanings. Listen and repeat new vocabulary, oral and written exercises.  Spelling bee. Vocabulary and Grammar page 100, look and label, complete the sentences, together.
Snack and active pause: Let’s sing “Lemon tree” and you can eat a snack.
Great job...!! You have finished...!!

TUESDAY


Hello! Good morning! How are you? Happy? That’s great..!!
Let’s start with a song “count to 20”, well done.
What day is today? Yes, it´s Tuesday ……. (Write the date).
Grammar:  Language Log Book page 121, wants and needs, read the vocabulary, read the grammar chart, listen and follow. Read the comic and underline want/need/would like + verb. Vocabulary and Grammar 101, 102 solve them, copy the chart of wants and needs in your notebook and write 2 sentences of wants and 2 of needs.
On line class: Language Log Book page 121, wants and needs explanation, oral and written exercises. Vocabulary and Grammar 101 and 102 practice, answer exercises together.
Snack and active pause: Let’s sing and you can eat a snack “we are the champions –queen”

Reading:  Reading Book 156.  Review of new vocabulary. Look at the pictures. Read the title. Listen and follow. How do characters feel? Number the pictures in correct order. Solve pages 164, 165. Vocabulary and Grammar page 103 and 104, answer the exercises with wants and needs.
On line class:  Reading Book page 156 read, follow and listen explanation of the lost city in Atlanta, oral and written exercises including the ones in book.  Vocabulary and Grammar 103 and 104, solve the exercises together.
Snack and active pause: Take a delicious snack with your family.

What day is today? Yes, it´s Thursday ……. (Write the date).
Reading and Writing: Language Log book page 122, 123.   Present the grammar. Listen and follow. Write each pronoun the noun refers. Are these good manners? Write how you can have good manners when you travel to a different place? Listen and match the descriptions with the places. Write about good manners in your country. Vocabulary and Grammar 99, review of comparatives and adjectives.
On line class: Language book page 115, 116. Listening for numbers and expressing opinions explanations and review, oral and written exercises using comparatives and superlatives. Vocabulary and Grammar 103, 104 review answering it together.
Snack and active pause: Let’s sing “see you my friend” and you can eat a snack.

Reading and Writing:  Language log 124, 125. Present the vocabulary. Listen and match the questions. Look and circle the place. Read and number the parts of the address. Write a postcard to a friend. Vocabulary and Grammar 105.
On line class:  Language log 125, 125. Working together. Explain how to write a postcard to a friend. Solve together Vocabulary and Grammar 105.
